Dr. Deji Adeleke donates a huge sum of N500million and 6,640 bags of rice to the Nigerian government and Osun State residents respectively to help fight the pandemic, COVID_19.

Meanwhile, the Rice which is said to have worth N250million will be distributed across all the three hundred and thirty-two wards in Osun State to help contain the deadly virus, COVID_19.

According to a release signed by Dr. Mrs. Dupe Adeleke, the distribution of rice to the state is to mark the commitment and willingness of  Adeleke's family to making life comfortable for all residents of Osun State during this Lockdown. According to her, 3 bags of beans with 20 bags of 50 kilograms of rice will be given to each ward across the state.

The release, however, enjoined the people of the state to comply with FG order to stay at home and observe social distancing and proper hygiene. The billionaire further promised to keep supporting the people of the State and keep providing the much they can.

Dr. Adedeji Adeleke is a Nigerian billionaire, businessman, and philanthropist. Adeleke was born in Enugu State on 6th March 1957 to the family of late Raji Ayoola Adeleke and late Nnenna Esther Adeleke. He is The founder and president of the  Adeleke's University located in Osun State, Nigeria. Adeleke is the Company Executive Officer (CEO) of Pacific Holdings Limited. He is the father of the famous Nigerian musician, Davido and Sharon Adeleke. Before moving to Lagos State, Adeleke however, lived shortly in the eastern part of the country with his maternal grandmother.

Education 

Adeleke later moved to Lagos for his primary school education. He attended Ansar-ud-Deen primary school, Surulere, Lagos between 1965 and 1970. Subsequently, he was admitted into Seventh-Day Adventist Grammar School Ede, Osun State (the then western region), Nigeria.

Having obtained his West African School Certificate(WASC), Adeleke worked briefly with the federal ministry of education in 1975 before he left to pursue a bachelor's degree in finance at Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, Kentucky, United States. Upon completing his degree program, Adeleke enrolled for a Masters's degree in 1979 and obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration(MBA) in 1981. Between 1981 and 1983, Adeleke obtained a Ph.D. degree in international business at Pacific Columbia University, Mills Valley, California. Now you know why he is referred to as a doctor. 

In 2007, Dr. Deji enrolled for a second Doctoral degree in Business Administration (DBA) with the University of Phoenix, Arizona and completed in 2010. His educational history and the opening of Adeleke University have shown that he has a great experience in education really.

Adeleke is a well-known business magnate in Nigeria and a household name in Osun State. He is currently the CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited. A company that specializes in investment and finance. Pacific Holdings has invested in different sectors of the country's economy. Apart from being a CEO, the billionaire is also the founder of Adeleke  University in Ede, Osun State, Nigeria. Isiaka Adeleke was a two-time Senator and former governor of Osun State. The billionaire, Adeleke is blessed with five children, 3 boys and 2 girls with Davido of DMW inclusive. He is a widower and a Christian of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
